Our Mission

Making a difference with purity, growth and empowerment

Our goal to set up a model mission school with good, dedicated, trained local teachers is most important for the next generation. The school will in turn produce good teachers, in addition to professionals and leaders in various important fields.

Col. Tan, a pioneer missionary to Cambodia, explains the meaning of the name of the school.

“We believe that the Bible says we are to seek ‘wisdom.’
God gives us wisdom to live our lives and the word ‘nest’ means that it will be a place to nurture the young ones. In the nest, young birds receive from the mother bird (parents) everything that they need to grow.
In this school the children will grow with the wisdom of God.”

Speaking on behalf of the board decision, he explains the meaning of the name, colours, and the motto of the school, 
“And so, we will call the school Wisdom Nest. Our logo has four colours:  Red, White, Green, Gold.
Red stands for the redemptive work of Jesus, 
white for purity, green for growth from knowing God’s truth and gold for anointing and empowering. 
The emblem of the dove indicates the presence of the Holy Spirit to help the students grow strong in spirit and be filled with wisdom and the grace of God. 
The open book represents the Bible which, when read and taught, will reveal the truths for the students to live by.”
